Built-in Drum Sampler
We also realize your DAW has way better Drums sounds than the simple drum sampler we've built in to Prism: Drums, but it is really convenient for testing out the generated midi before dragging it into your DAW.
State of the Art
We've invested a LOT of time and thought in developing our proprietary drum-to-MIDI algorithm to get them to the point where we were happy with the results. We hope our efforts are useful for you.
Convert Sample Loops to Midi
Take a human played drum part and capture all the nuances to midi where you can edit and use any drum VST to convert to audio.

FAQ

Which DAWs are supported?
Prism Drums supports VST3, AAX, and AU plugin formats.

Prism Drums can run in either ARA mode (if supported by DAW) and as a normal "Insert" effect plugin. If your DAW does not support ARA2 plugins, then Prism Drums can be used as a normal Insert plugin. ARA2 is a complex plugin format and even if your DAW supports ARA, the DAW may not support ARA all plugins.

Prism Drums is known to work in ARA2 mode in the following DAWs:

DAW Known Version
Pro Tools 2025.6
Cubase 14
Nuendo 14
Reaper 7
Studio One 7
Logic Pro 11.2
Cakewalk Sonar 2024.11

If you have an earlier version that supports ARA2, use the Prism Drums free trial period to verify that it will work in your DAW. Note that even if ARA2 is not support, Prism Drums can still be used in non-ARA mode.
